I grew up in the Channel Islands, and on the South East coast of England, and I studied Drama at Bristol University.
At the age of 21 I looked for a spiritual path, as I wanted to understand the deeper meaning of life. I joined a Sufi Order where I stayed for 14 years. Here I learned to meditate, to concentrate, and to understand the Unity behind all things.
My book ‘Windows on a Path to Grace’ was an attempt to put into words all that I had learned from this setting.
I trained in social work and worked in various social care settings, combining creative arts with counseling and therapeutic group work.
In England I worked as a social worker, a counsellor, a flower essence practitioner and a healer. I spent 20 years working with people who were suffering in one way or another, and found that under the details of everybody’s life we all have the same need for compassionate acceptance. Among my clients were victims of domestic violence, people suffering from cancer, and traumatized refugees from war zones.
Moving to Portugal in 2006, I continued my healing and counseling work and also developed a range of flower essences, Harmony Essences, which I use with my clients. These natural remedies use the energy of certain plants to heal states of emotional, mental or spiritual imbalance.
Through my healing practice I developed the gift of mediumship. When people come to see me with various issues and life problems I use the help of healing guides and angels to assist them on their path.
My latest book ‘Universal Lessons’ was inspired by my own ability to contact the spiritual realms and learn from illumined teachers there.
I have taught meditation in various settings and have facilitated many meditation groups through the years. I am also a singer/songwriter and music has always been part of my life.
I have been married to Barry for many years and have two grown up children, and four grandchildren, all of whom I am very proud.
